Subclasses are a future gameplay element in Vesteria. They are meant to be extensions of the three main Factions in the game (Hunter, Warrior, Mage). The player will be able to join a subclass at Level 30, and each of them will have their own perks.
All abilities are subject to change, as subclasses are still in early development.
Hunter Sub-Classes
- Assassin - Primarily single target focused, high burst damage. Can turn invisible to get to target unseen
- Ranger - Uses ranged basic attack (bow and arrow), and has spells to enhance basic attack. Sustained damage.
- Trickster - Tries to confuse and trap opponents, can create a trap, shoot a beam which swaps positions of you and the enemy, and can create a clone (fake).
Warrior Sub-Classes
- Paladin - Magical attacks and healing. Scales off of INT.
- Bladesman - Sheer damage, no specifics confirmed yet.
- Knight - Tank, no specifics known.
Mage Sub-Classes
- Warlock - Fire/Dark style magic. Heavy focus on inflicting status effects on enemies and fighting up close to the action.
- Sorcerer - Pure energy magic (Ice+Lightning at higher levels). Glass cannon class that puts everything into big splashy attacks
- Cleric - Holy/Light style magic. Focus on healing and boosting self and nearby players. Despite being more of a support role, still does plenty of damage.
Known Abilities
- Frostcall - Icicles rain down from the sky in a line in front of the user and cause icebergs to appear on the ground where they land.
- Hail of Arrows - Arrows rain down in a radius around the user. Enemies in the radius of the attack take damage over time.
- Healing Burst - The user creates a circle on the ground, any player within the range of the circle is healed.
- Dark Ritual - The user converts some of their life force into mana.
- Pillage Vitality - The user fires a dark projectile that steals life force from the enemy that is hit, restoring the user's health.
- Trick Trap - The user creates a trap on the ground that ensnares any enemy that steps on it, preventing them from moving for a few seconds.
- Switch Strike - The user fires a rainbow projectile that switches the position of the player with the target upon contact.
- Stealth - The user disappears in a cloud of smoke.
- Shadow Flurry - The user strikes the enemy with their blade and shadow clones attack the enemy rapidly.
- Ranger's Stance - The user takes upon the stance of a ranger and their attack speed with a bow is greatly increased at the cost of their movement speed being drastically reduced.
- Resurrect - The user uses a spell on a tombstone to return one of their comrades to life.
- Inspire - The user lets out a war cry greatly reducing the damage taken from enemies within radius.
- War Cry - The user lets out a war cry that greatly increases the damage dealt to enemies within radius.
- Smite - The user swings their sword firing a projectile that cuts through the air and any enemy in front of the user.
