Scrapped

Items

  • Calamity Scrolls were unceremoniously announced on February 17, 2019, in the Vesteria game by Berezaa. This scroll is a bit of a wild card: not only does it increase a weapon's base attack when it is successfully applied onto an item, but it will also apply a trait that either adds or subtracts stat points from the player. These scrolls will also be able to change your values of speed, jump, MP, and HP.
    • In February 2020, Cursed Scrolls were given the ability to increase or decrease stats, essentially replacing the use Calamity Scrolls would have had.
  • Experience Essence: The holder slams a potion onto the ground and causes an explosion. Anyone caught in the explosion will receive a slight EXP boost for 1 hour. Effects do not stack if another Experience Essence is used - instead - the 1-hour duration will reset.
  • Loot Essence: Similar to the Experience Essence, but anyone caught in its explosion will experience a loot drop increase.
  • Name Carver: Permanently inscribes your name onto an item. Not even a Reset Scroll can remove the inscription.
  • Enchanted Wooden Sword: A test item from the very early days of Vesteria, didn't have a weapon swinging animation
  • Tree Branch Staff: An item exclusive to Mages Mages, it was likely replaced by the Lapis Staff. A few are still in the game.
  • Oak Wood: An item obtainable by using the Oak Axe and swinging it against a cuttable tree.
  • Copper Ore: An item obtainable by using a Pickaxe on Copper Nodes.
  • Oak Axe: An item obtainable by buying it or crafting it at Nilgarf and Mushtown for 10 Oak Wood or 200 Bronze.
  • Oak Pickaxe: An item obtainable by crafting it at Mushtown for 10 Oak Wood.
  • Stone Axe: An item obtainable by crafting it at Mushtown for 20 Oak Wood and 20 Stone.
  • Stone Pickaxe: An item obtainable by crafting it at Mushtown for 20 Oak Wood and 20 Stone.
  • Copper Sword:
  • Copper Axe: An item obtainable by crafting it at Mushtown for 20 Oak Wood and 20 Copper Ore.
  • Copper Pickaxe: An item obtainable by crafting it at Mushtown for 20 Oak Wood and 20 Copper Ore.

Subclasses

  • Alchemist: A Hunter subclass focused on inflicting status effects to enemies and self-buffs, Scales off of INT. It was replaced with Trickster.
  • Blademaster: A warrior subclass that would've been powerfully offensively and defensively at the cost of speed. It was replaced with Berserker.

Mechanics

  • Permadeath: A feature in which if the player died, they would lose all their exp, level down to level 1 and lose all their items, community voted against it so it was never added.
  • Terul's Sacrifice: A feature where if a level 50 was at a sacrificial altar and was killed by another player, they would have that slot reset and be given a red chat color.
  • Vesra's Rebirth: A feature where a level 50 player could reset a slot to level 1 and gain a yellow chat color. It would have replaced the normal Rebirth.
  • Stamina Mechanics: Multiple mechanics pertaining to stamina were scrapped. This includes:
    • A feature where VIT directly increased stamina.
